How many heartbreaks have you had? Wait, back that up. How many ‘big loves’ came before that?

If you’re lucky, you’ll have a few Life. Stopping. Loves. in your life —some say three, each for a ‘reason’ — plus some false starts with fast ends in between.

Sorry for your luck.

Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.
-Poem by Alfred, Lord Tennyson, 1833

But…it’s the truth.

You have to learn the lessons — those #blessed bleeping lessons that feel like torture at the time— to appreciate the ethereal mess that love is.
